Maggie Dent's 'Raising Real Kids' Seminars
‘Raising Real Kids’ in the Great Southern.
Maggie Dent, acclaimed early childhood author and parenting specialist, is touring the Great Southern in February and delivering her seminar “Raising Real Kids” FREE to parents. The seminar, sponsored by the Lower Great Southern’s Communities for Children Initiative, is a commonsense approach to building self-esteem and resilience in children.
Maggie Dent’s tour of the region will take in Albany, Denmark, Mt Barker, Nyabing, Katanning and Gnowangerup. The session is targeted at parents and will have a focus on 0-5 year old children.
Communities for Children staff are excited to be bringing Maggie Dent to the region for the parenting seminars. Manager Clare Valley said,
“The early years are critical for our children. Helping kids realise their potential starts with building strong self-esteem and resilience. It’ll be great to have Maggie Dent back in the Lower Great Southern to hear her take on ‘Raising Real Kids’.”
The Communities for Children Initiative is supported by the Australian Government under the Stronger Families and Communities Strategy.
The Great Southern GP Network is the Facilitating Partner of the Communities for Children Initiative here in the Lower Great Southern and is proud to be a part of this event.
